Like a scene from the 1958 movie, “The Blob” in which an alien lifeform consumes everything in its path as it grows, iceforms, so to speak, creeps toward residents in Minnesota. Continue reading
This image shows when you are using the Right or Left side of your brain. If you see the picture exactly as it is, you are using the left side. When you stare at it for a while, you will see the figure shift; and you will be using your right brain. You can switch back and forth. In order to… Continue reading
Ever hear a cliche or saying that sounds so poetic and deep that you figure it must be true? We’ll it might surprise some people to know that some of the phrases and sayings they live by are just plain untrue or only true in some situations. Here’s my top ten list.

I’ve seen “The Bishops Wife” at least twenty times in my life. It’s a classic and beloved Christmas movie. But something about it hadn’t really occurred to me until watching it again last night. Continue reading
Zach Hodskins is my new favorite basketball player. This guy is amazing and he’s only got one hand! I don’t mean that he’s really good for a guy with just one hand; I mean that he’s incredibly good and as an interesting side note he’s only got one hand! Continue reading
Lee Wilson invented that group at schools known as the “cool kids” in 1994. In high school sports I had a few coaches yell at me like I was a dog on a near daily basis and to be honest, if I could go back in time I’d probably bust a few of them in the lip. They had no real power over me, but because I wanted to play basketball, I gave it to them. I shouldn’t have. Continue reading
