After a breakup where you were the one who was broken up with, I almost always suggest using the No Contact Rule.

It’s the mature thing to do simply because you are not attempting to force your way to where you are no longer welcome.

What’s interesting is that it’s also one of the best – if not the best – things that you can do to re-attract your ex if that is what you want. That doesn’t mean it’s not without pitfalls and setbacks.
